Bug's favorite fall poem/song is the

Five Little Pumkins
Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate;
The first one said, "Oh my it's getting late."
The second one said, "There are witches in the air."
The third one said, "But I don't care."
The fourth one said, "I'm ready for some fun!"
The fifth one said, "Let's run and run and run."
"Wooooooo" went the wind,
And out went the lights.
And the five little pumpkins rolled out of sight.

Bug snug as a bug in a rug!


School Update: Bug loves her new class and is working hard and doing well on writing her name. She is recognizing many letters and understanding the sounds that they make. Her favorite time is circle time when they sing songs and gets very excited when the teacher lets her choose which song they sing. She has learned several new songs and her most favorite is the hot dog song.

Off to the pumkin patch!

Bug made the annual trip to Devine Farms for lots of fall fun. It was a perfect fall day and Aunt Sarah and her son, little pig, joined Bug and Mommy for hours of activities. First came the inflatable playhouse and then headed over for the famous barrel train ride which Bug enjoyed the most. She rode it 3 times and also took a Hayride with Mommy. There was also pumpkin and face painting, a big slide & hay crawl, a huge play area of play tractors/bikes, and too many others to list. Bug & Mommy had a wonderful fall day with great company and entertainment.

Bug's 1st soccer game!

Soccer time!

Bug had her first soccer practice today and she did very well. Bug was not prepared for all the running though. Her face was beet red and she wanted frequent water breaks. Her favorite part was being goalie and she was great at it. She blocked a hard kick with her shin and was very proud. At the end of the practice she was exhausted but said she had lots of fun.
