What happens at Grandmas, stays at Grandmas!

Bug spent 3 days at her Grandma Tyna's house and had so much fun! Each night Bug was able to stay up late and catch fireflies, roast marshmallows, watch movies and eat popcorn. The days were filled with playing in the pool. Bug can't wait for her next visit to Grandmas!

Dance Recital

Bug had a wonderful performance at the end of the year dance recital. The theme of the recital was Disney. Bug's class performed "A dream is a wish your heart makes". They closed the performance with an "It's a small world" parade and a cute thank you song. Bug had a lot of fun and was very proud. It was a rainy day but Bug had 3 grandmas (Little Grandma, Grandma Tyna, and Great Grandma Tubbs) there to cheer her on and also Mommy & Daddy. Afterward Mommy, Daddy & Bug went out for pizza as a special treat.

The Graduate

Bug is now ready for Kindergarten! She has graduated from Montessori Preschool. Bug had a great year, made lots of new friends and had lots of fun with some amazing teachers.

Christmas Eve

The first stop on Christmas Eve was Granny's at noon. Bug had fun with lots of family and yummy food. Bug also loves Granny's Christmas room.

Bug loves her Granny!!

and Aunt Connie & Uncle Randall

Next was Papaw & Grandma's house....

The last stop on Christmas Eve was Grandma Tyna's house. Everyone had lots of fun with Bug unwrapping presents, making cookies, and watching old christmas home movies. Bug got to see old movies of Grandpa Gill who will always be with the family in hearts and memories.
One of Grandma & Bug's favorite parts of Christmas is eating chocolate covered cherries.

Halloween at Grandmas!

Bug and Mommy spent Halloween night at Grandmas house. Down the road from Grandma's are two houses that always decorate with lots of lights for Halloween & Christmas. Bug, Mommy & Grandma took a ride down to see them and on the way back Grandma taught Bug a new song. It's called the spooky walk . Bug loved this song and when returning to the house, Grandma turned out all the lights and put the spooky walk song on her record player. Then Bug got her usual bowl of popcorn and movie after her bath at Grandma's. Everyone ate popcorn and watched Charlie Brown's The Great Pumpkin. It was the perfect Halloween night.

Grandma Camp & the Fireman's festival

Each summer, Bug spends a week at Grandma Tyna's house. She had lots of fun this year playing outside in the pool, having picnics, watering flowers and staying up late to catch lightening bugs. At the end of the week, Bug went to the Fireman's festival. Even after missing the parade, she had lots of fun riding rides and eating yummy fries! This is what summer is all about!

Oh she was the star of the show...

Bug did a wonderful job performing at her first dance recital. Of course, she looked amazingly beautiful. During the opening performance, Bug knew she was suppossed to be standing in front of a certain letter so she made a grand entrance and walked in front of everyone to find her letter. Everyone giggled and thought she was so adorable. Bug did amazing the rest of the show and her Mommy, Daddy, & family were so proud.

It's a circus around here!

Bug visited Grandma at her work. They were having a circus carnival fundraiser. Bug had so much fun. She went on a obstacle coarse, put on a circus tattoo, went in a bounce house, got a balloon kitty from the clown, and did ring & beanbag toss games. Bug loves yummy treats too! She ate cotton candy and sno cone. Bug is really starting to develop interaction skills. She went up all by herself to the cotton candy machine and paid for her cotton candy. What a big girl!!

Christmas Eve breakfast

Christmas Eve breakfast at Grandma's was very nice. Hailey was very excited to unwrap her first gifts of Christmas. According to her, the Disney princess carriage was "what she wanted her WHOLE life!".

Hailey also loves spending time with her favorite playmate Little Grandma. She was so sad when it was time to say goodbye. But Little Grandma promised her a sleepover at her house which made things much better.

It was raining when leaving, and Hailey looked so cute with her umbrella.
